This weekend, Thursday Oct.31 through Saturday Nov.2, is the PR Theological Seminary's special conference on grace, and we would love to have you join us at Grace PRC in Standale MI, west of Grand Rapids.
The 2024 conference is a 100-year (1924-2024) remembrance of and reflection on the common grace (CG) controversy in our mother church that gave birth to the Protestant Reformed Churches and her defense of God's sovereign, particular grace in Jesus Christ. Nothing less than the gospel of salvation was at stake, as well as the biblical and confessional truth of the true Christian and Reformed world-and-life view, the church and believer's place and role in this world.
We had a great start last night with Prof. D. Kuiper's speech on the historical, cultural and theological background to the CG controversy (photo above). There are also special book and literature tables out as well as historical displays.
Check out the full schedule on the flyer below and come and hear about this small but significant aspect of God's continuing reformation of His church. If you are unable to attend in person, the conference is being livestreamed through Grace PRC's website.
